The latest industry trend in Compressed Air is EaaS, or Equipment-as-a-Service.  AaaS or Air-as-a-Service is belonging that group.  With AaaS, the user can focus on its core activity and  not being busy with the selection, purchase, installation and maintenance of a compressed air installation.  The selection and purchase of the Compressed Air installation is done by non-experts and they are overwhelmed by the sales pitch of different sales rep's of compressed air systems suppliers.  

The result is often that a wrong defined compressed air installation is composed and leading to important energy losses in the usage of the Compressed Air.  During 5 yrs of operation, 80% of the cost is electricity cost.  A wrong selection of the compressed air system is an expensive investment, not only the CAPEX but also the energy cost related during its entire lifetime.
