What is the similarity between high record temperatures measured and the high outlet temperature of an Oil-free Air compressor ?

The similarity is tremendous : high level of waste !

As commonly accepted that the Climate change leads to abnormal high ambient temperatures, the outlet temperature of the 1st as well the second stage of an Oil-free compressor, increases as its energy efficiency drops.   This is mostly a consequence of loss in volumetric efficiency due to internal wear.  Other exceptional reasons can occur, but mostly an irreversible internal wear is at the cause of the increase.  Proper maintenance is required to replace the wearing components.  Althoug this might be very expensive, it is still less expensive than to run an inefficient Oil-free Air compressor wasting unnecessary energy.
